Description
Margaret and Henry have been married for fifty-eight years. They have raised a daughter, watched grandchildren grow, and danced to “Moon River” every Saturday night. When Margaret is diagnosed with cancer, they know their time together is limited.
As Margaret’s health declines, Henry cares for her, holding her hand through the pain, reading to her, loving her. She writes him letters to read after she is gone, begging him to keep dancing, to keep living, to keep his promise.
After her death, Henry is lost. The cottage is empty, the silence is deafening, and the record player stays silent. But he remembers her letters, her words, her love. Slowly, he begins to dance again. Alone. In the living room. With her memory.
A story of enduring love, sacrifice, and the hope that death is not the end.
