Description
Some voices never die. Some messages should never be heard.
Leo Vance is a sound engineer drowning in grief. Three weeks ago, his older brother Caleb died in a car crash on a remote mountain road. The police called it an accident. The funeral was closed-casket. The family is shattered. Then, at 2 a.m., Leo’s phone buzzes with a voicemail from Caleb’s number.
The message is eleven seconds of static, wind, and a terrified whisper: “Don’t trust the fog. I’m still…” When Leo cleans the audio, he finds something impossible—dozens of layered voices hidden beneath the static, all repeating the same words: “Still here.” Caleb isn’t the first to call from the dead. Seven other people have received voicemails from loved ones who died on the same stretch of mountain road. All of them were lured into the fog. None of them came back.
Now Leo must travel to the dying town of Greywood, where an ancient entity lives in the mist—a creature that feeds on memory, mimics voices, and wears the faces of the dead. To uncover the truth and free his brother’s soul, Leo must enter the heart of the fog armed with nothing but a recording device, an iron bell, and the desperate hope that some voices can finally be silenced.
